The Asian College of Technology Students

Asian College Of Technology is a school known for its highly competitive skills especially when it comes to computer industry. This community enhance every individual to become independent, good and globally competitive. This school serves as an image to a real school where in students treats themselves as brothers and sisters as well. Students may have a lot of sacrifices, experiences and failures. Hence, students from anywhere schools came from really never give up no matter what happened. As I entered Asian College of Technology (ACT), I see people of different personalities, characteristics, traits and attitudes that portrait individual’s capacity and ability. Some are serious, attentive and well-minded but few are disruptive. I can see to their selves the pursuance to study and have some gimmick because of study. Other may say that ACT is worthless because they think that people studying there are dull people.

 Also, Asian College of Technology (ACT) is the most populated student’s where almost of the student’s is a scholar or what we called the Cebu City Scholar (CCS). The school offered lots of stuff like Free Uniforms, Books & PHP 1000 allowance for every semester (for the entire Cebu City scholar). But it’s so sad to heard that some of the scholar is NOT serious with their studies, it’s bad for the government and parents but most of all the people of Cebu City because some Cebu City scholars is doing unnecessary things like cutting classes to hangout with their friends and went to bars. Other students who are not scholar got envy with them because of the opportunity to have a scholarship to study for free. I’m one of the student’s of Asian College of Technology, a third year student on Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT). The training is very good, teachers are excellent in teaching students in the class but the some students don’t have the perseverance to listen and to absorb the knowledge given by the professors or teachers in Asian College of Technology (ACT).

And Asian College of Technology has the biggest computer laboratory in all universities/school in Cebu City. Many facilities like Mobile Application Center, Fiber Optics Training Center, Innobento Animation and Game Development Center, American International Culinary and Hospitality Institute, Cisco Networking Academy, Digital Electronics Laboratory, General Computer Laboratory, Kaizen Center, Innovention Center, Library, Simulated Hospital, Gym located in the 10^th floor of the building and Lastly they have Mezzanine.
